You will all be aware of the Sports Personality
Awards and awards for certain sectors of the
equestrian industry and now, with the help of
Showing World magazine The Showing Council
is delighted to announce that showing is to have its
very own national show personality awards, starting in 2010.
GETTING INVOLVED – we are asking you to nominate who you would like to see win the awards,
the categories are all listed below. From your votes , and input from a select set of adjudicators
and judges, six finalists will be selected to go forward to a public vote, the person, or horse/pony,
that receives the most votes in each category will be crowned a ‘show personality of the year’. The
winner will be presented with a beautiful sash, courtesy of UK Rosettes and a crystal trophy to keep, as well as
having an interview that will appear in Showing World at the end of the year
